We are very proud of the progress that students make while in the Sixth Form which is rated in the top 15% nationally for progress at A Level and the top 10% for progress in BTEC. The hard work of our staff, students and parents has resulted in high academic standards and the vast majority of our students progress to Higher Education.
Our 2013 results are best ever with 42% of all A Level grades being awarded at A*-B and a 99% pass rate. We have former Stantonbury students will be studying at Oxford University and seven other Russell Group universities, following courses including medicine and law.
Sixth Form students at Stantonbury have access to a very broad range of subjects and fantastic facilities in the performing arts, sport, science, design technology, ICT and media. As well as striving for academic success, we encourage students to participate in a broad range of extra-curricular experiences both within school and the wider community. Every year, students are offered the opportunity to take part in a range of trips and visits and recent residential trips have included visits to Washington, Berlin, Rome and the Peak District. Many students will also choose to take part in volunteer or charity work.
