We have just purchased a subscription to www.heaponline.co.uk which is a really useful resource for choosing universities. It allows you, for example to enter a subject and a range of UCAS points (for example between 240 which is CCC and 320 which is ABB) and it will tell you all of the university courses in that range. To access the website you need to click here and enter the code MOUHWZNO. You will then be sent a password which you can change. I hope that you find this useful

Brilliant opportunity for apprenticeship with BBC in Business and Media - get a degree and be paid for it..
Fantastic opportunity for 15 students who want to work in journalism to attend FREE summer school !!
We have a pilot scheme for interview transport in place for Saturday 16th May 2015. Any of your Year 11 students who wish to come for interview will need to have applied online for a course by 5pm on Friday 8th May 2015.
Once they have applied they should go to the events page http://www.moulton.ac.uk/the-college/news-events/events-calendar#careers-events-59 , find the ‘Milton Keynes School’s interview event’ and click where it says ‘Book Transport’. They will then be able to add their details and choose a pick-up location from the list below:
· Sir Herbert Leon, Bletchley
· Bletchley (Bus Station)
· Lord Grey, West Bletchley
· Milton Keynes Academy
· St Pauls, Leadenhall
· Milton Keynes Railway Station
· Stantonbury Campus
· Great Linford (Public bus stop on Wolverton Road, closest to the junction with Marsh Drive and on the same side of the road)
· Ousedale School
· Newport Pagnell (Outside of the Health Centre)
· Sherington (In front of the Post Office)
· Emberton (On the slip road outside of the Country Park)
Our team at Student Services will then collate the information given, and contact students with a time for collection by one of our mini buses. Once at the college they will go through the interview process as usual, which includes a presentation, tour of the grounds, and the interview itself. Students will be returned to their pick-up point by 3pm at the latest.
Please remind your students that they must be in Year 11 and have both applied online and requested transport by 5pm on Friday 8th May.
We really appreciate your support and patience with this process. Could you please promote this opportunity to as many students as possible between now and the deadline? After the interviews we will review the process, and consider opening this up to Year 10 students next year.
Thanks again for your support and patience. We look forward to seeing your students on the 16th.
