This is a great opportunity to earn money while you learn in a government funded apprenticeship which is suitable for an entry level candidate. The successful candidate will complete a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship, whilst working in our Milton Keynes based office. We operate a work hard play hard mentality.
We are looking to recruit a 1st line technical support Apprentice for our growing company. The successful candidate will be working directly for the Technical Manager. We are looking for a hardworking, organised individual who is flexible and willing to learn. A personal interest in IT/Technology along with the drive for self-improvement is critical in any candidate looking to apply for this role.
As a 1st Line IT Support Apprentice your job includes:
• Answering support desk calls.
• Remote troubleshooting.
• Fault finding.
• Server Maintenance.
• Network Monitoring.
• VoIP Fault Resolution and Maintenance.
• Experience working in our Data Centre.

What experience do I need?
At least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and either IT or Science.

During your one-year programme, Firebrand provides residential training at our distraction-free training centre. Our accelerated training means you'll achieve certifications with partners like CompTIA, ITIL and Microsoft faster, giving you more time to put your new skills into practice within a professional working environment. When you complete your programme, you'll have enough industry-recognised qualifications for a great career in IT. You'll be registered by the British Computer Society (BCS) to the Register of IT Technicians, confirming SFIA level 3 professional competence.

Hours (Daily and weekly):
7.5 hours per day
37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Lunch (State if unpaid/paid):
1 hour unpaid
Travel to and from the training centre and any other business travel.
